In this economy I think Steve Martin's joke on Sunday Morning very appropriate...
Steve Martin: I need some carpet so I go to this carpet store...they want $15 a sq. foot...I think thats pretty outrageous..so I buy two square yards and strap them to my feet.....What a great image there is nothing like carpet under your feet...
